Aurelia "Bella" Garcia, 82, a resident of Sandia Park, beloved mother, grandmother and sister died Wednesday, July 1, 2009. She is survived by her children, Joe Garcia and wife, Cathy, Alex Garcia and wife, Cissi, Irene and husband, Jerry Armijo, Viola and husband, Rey Garcia, Alfred Garcia and wife, Martha, Ruben Garica, and Albert Garcia and wife, Victoria; three brothers and three sisters, Ben Lara and wife, Edna of Roswell, Esther and husband, Robert Sanchez of Chama, Beatrice and husband, Gilbert Kimbrall of Albuquerque, Helen Sanchez of Albuquerque, Danny Lara of Ruidoso and Billy Lara and wife, Dolly of California; 28 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Bella was preceded in death by her husband, Ermenio; parents, Fred and Cecilia Lara; brother, Joe; and two grandsons, Luis and Alex Garcia. She was born in Dexter, NM. Bella and Ermenio lived in Roswell, where their children were born. They came to Albuquerque in 1966, and lived in Sandia Park. Rosary will be recited Sunday, July 5, 2009, 6:00 p.m., at Holy Child Catholic Church in Tijeras. Mass will be celebrated Monday, July 6, 2009, 10:00 a.m., at Holy Child Catholic Church in Tijeras. Pallbearers will be Johnny Garcia, Joseph Armijo, Rey Garcia, Jr., Leroy Garcia, Vincent Garcia, and Adrian Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Lee Armijo, Joseph Garcia, Lorenzo Garcia, and Adam Garcia. Interment will take place at 3:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
