Joan Ann Marsh, 68, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, George Marsh; children, Michael Marsh and wife, Laura, Michelle Chavez and husband, Don, Gregory Marsh, Jeffrey Marsh and wife, Sonja, Ryan Marsh and wife, Jenni, and Kendall Elliott and husband, Travis; grandchildren, Jessica, Aiden, Amber, Trinity, Gabriel, Christopher and wife, Sammi Jo, Camdyn, Theryn, Jonas, Davis, Emma, Lucas, Garrett, Gavin, and Kaitlyn; great grandchild, Sydni; and numerous other relatives and friends. Joan is preceded in death by her parents Orville and Mary Alice Hoffmann. She was born on June 11, 1941 in St. Louis, MO and graduated from high school in New Athens, IL. Joan was a supportive wife to her husband during his 24 year career in the United States Air Force. She worked for many years as Activities Director at La Vida Llena Retirement Community. Joan had a passion for antiques and loved to do needlework. She was a member of John XXIII Catholic Community. Joan was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Friends may visit French - Wyoming Branch, Sunday, July 5, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with Rosary following. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge NE, Monday, July 6, 2009, 11:00 a.m. with Father Arkad Bizak, Celebrant.
