Tillie Montoya, 82, a resident of Albuquerque passed away, June 30, 2009. Mrs. Montoya is survived by her children, Adelino Montoya Jr. and wife, Lucy, Jerry R. Montoya and wife, Isabel, John Walter Montoya and wife, Silvia, Patsy Perea and husband, Raymond; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; her sister, Helen Martinez; many other extended family members. Mrs. Montoya was preceded in death by her husband, Adelino Montoya Sr.; and her son, Robert (Bobby) Montoya. Mrs. Montoya was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2009 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 563 Atrisco SW from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 1:00 p.m. by Susie Perea. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated after the Rosary at 1:30, Father Steven Hickman, presider. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thomas Montoya, Frank Armijo, Robert Montoya, Richard Gonzales, John A. Montoya and Nicholas Pina.
