Josephine G. Quintana, 75, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home on June 29, 2009. Mrs. Quintana is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Mr. Horacio Quintana; her children, Jenny Gonzalez and husband, Norosvaldo, Dolores Pohl and companion Anthony Saiz, Eloy Quintana and companion, Norma Ballejos, Monica Quintana, Evelyn Sedillo and husband, Herman, Eli Quintana and companion, Patricia Miranda, and Chris Quintana and wife, Jennifer; her sisters, Alicia Duran, Lucia Gutierrez, Beatrice DeVos and husband, Al, and Lillian Meyers and husband, Don; her brother, Henry Martinez and wife, Mary; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; goddaughter, Patricia Gutierrez; her aunt, Tillie Maes; and many, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Quintana was a member of the Catholic Church; a dedicated member to the Legion of Mary since 1972; past Treasurer for Nuestra Senora de Nuevo Mexico, Comitium; Correspondent for the North Curia as a member of Our Lady of the Divine Mercy, praesidium for the past 12 years and serving as President, Vice President, and Treasurer; member of the Blue Army; member of the Catholic Daughters, Court of St. Joseph #2523 where she served as financial secretary; she was a Eucharistic Minister for St. Joseph Catholic Church and also served the home bound; and a member of the Charismatic movement. Visitation will Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at St. Josephs on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph Pl NW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by the Legion of Mary. Final visitation will be Friday, July 3, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at the Church, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Monsignor Lambert Luna, presider.
