Millicent Valdreau of La Luz, New Mexico, ended her journey on earth in the early morning of June 24, 2009. She was born July 22, 1922 in Iowa to Laurel and Charles Norris. Millicent is survived by her son, Phillip Valdreau of La Luz, NM; stepson, Scott Snowdy; nieces, Cherie Quintero of Albuquerque, NM, Anita Taylor of Manhattan, KS; nephew Kenneth Breese of Manhattan, KS; and many grand nieces and nephews. Millicent had a Christian belief; her profession was an elementary school teacher, and her hobbies included traveling, gardening, taking daily walks, viewing art, enjoying the infinite wonders of nature, writing personal letters to family, and caring her cats, dogs, and chickens. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. An Interment will be held at the South Park Cemetery in Roswell, NM.
