Obituary for JARAMILLO

Anastacio "Tacho", 81, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday June 12, 2009. Tacho was born in Abo, New Mexico to Isidro and Margarita Jaramillo. He was a life long resident of Albuquerque, and proudly served his country in the Korean War in the United States Army. Tacho loved being with people and working with wood, making guitars, violins and even a harp. He was a parishioner of St. Therese Catholic Church and loved the Lord. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings Lita Cardenas, Aldofo Jaramillo, Verna Narvaez, and Virginia Garcia. Tacho is survived by his siblings Josephine Petrik and husband Bill, Lydia Stella Jaramillo, Eddie Jaramillo and wife Darlene, Susan Hinojos and husband Pete, and Nettie Varela and husband Salomon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and will be missed by all his family and friends. Visitations will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Carlisle Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church (on the corner of 4th street and Mildred). Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park (4310 Sara Rd, Rio Rancho). Pallbearers will be Pete Hinojos, Christopher Vasquez, Jason Cardenas, Albino Otero Eddie Donato and Freddy Lucero. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Petrik and Guadalupe Salas.
