Rose Alden, 87, passed away May 23, 2009. She was born August 1, 1921 in Cleveland, OH and moved to Albuquerque in 1954 with husband Frank and their children. She became active in the Unitarian church and began her APS teaching career after graduating with honors from UNM in 1965. She was active in the educational retirees association and volunteered many hours with the Presbyterian Healthcare Auxiliary. Frank preceded her in death in 2005. She is survived by son James and wife Janet, daughter Martha and husband David Thibeau, and son Charles. The family thanks Prime Care Living Constance House and Hospice of New Mexico for their exceptional care in her last weeks. There will be no formal services.
