Raymond C. Hommon, 93, a long time resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Friday, May 22, 2009. Mr. Hommon was born in Smith Center, Kansas to George and Myrtle Hommon. Raymond is predeceased by his parents, all of his siblings, his beloved wife Dorothy Hommon and his daughter Karol Hommon. He is survived by his daughter Kala Falkenberg, four grandchildren; Christopher Falkenberg, Theresa Farmer and husband Bruce, Lisa Larsson and husband Leif, Curtis Falkenberg and wife Eleonor, six great-grandchildren; Nathan, Calvin, Elliot, Stefan, Marielle and Sanna. Mr. Hommon was a proud Army Veteran. After his service to this Nation he attended Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas where he earned his Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. Raymond worked mostly for the U.S. Government and did a lot of traveling, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He also loved to Fish and he loved Football. Raymond had a great sense of humor right up until Friday. The family wishes to thank Haven Care for the exceptional care given to Raymond when he was in their care. He will be greatly missed by all.
