Donald Charles Morgan, 87 a longtime De Baca County rancher and farmer died Sunday, May 24, 2009 in Albuquerque following an illness. He was born June 21, 1921 to the home of Charles A. and Ollie Mae (Anderson) Morgan. He served in the U.S. Army and Army Air Corps. Don married Evelyn Haralson on June 20, 1970 in Fort Sumner. Don was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Morgan on Oct. 19, 2007. Survivors include a daughter Yolanda Cline; son Thomas C. Haralson Jr.; granddaughters Melinda R. Cline-Hazel, Cynthia L. Cline-Hazel; grandsons Gerald T. Cline, Thomas C. Haralson III, Shane Morgan Haralson; and adopted granddaughters Lisa Walraven and Mickilynn McRee. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 26, 2009 from the Church of Christ in Fort Sumner. Burial will follow at Fort Sumner Cemetery. The family prefers memorial contributions in Don's memory to the Fort Sumner Cemetery Fund, Box 180, Fort Sumner, NM 88119.
