Trinidad J Romero, born June 1, 1921, passed away on May 18, the year of our Lord 2009, in the company of his daughter Diana and caregivers. Trinidad served in the U.S. Armed forces during the WWII era. He is survived by sons, Joseph T Romero-Esparza & wife Dolly, & Ernie Romero. His daughters, Bertha Haines & husband Bobby Haines, Diana Romero-Fuentes and husband Santiago Fuentes, & Rita Romero. His grandchildren are Julie, Bobby, & Marlene Haines; Jason Romero-Campbell, Yvette Romero-Ortiz; Steve, Paul, & Yvonne Herrera; David, Tana, Peggy, Donna, Thomas Edward, & Erica Romero; Sandra, Judy, Connie, Jesus, Vincent, Vanessa, Dolly, James, & Deidree Romero; 30 great-grandchildren & six great-great-grandchildren. His brothers Baltazar, Manuel, & Amado; and sister Catarina Padilla. Services will be held on Wednesday May 27, 2009 from 5 p.m.- 7 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at the Riverside Funeral Chapel, 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE, Alb., NM. Christian Memorial Services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m., at the Valley Gospel Tabernacle, 1820 Valley Rd SW, Alb., NM. Internment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, Alb., NM. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Paul Herrera, Steve Herrera, David Romero, Jason Romero-Campbell, Bobby J Haines, & Jesus T Romero. "I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, The Righteous Judge, will give to me on that day, and not to me only, but also to all that have loved his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8.
