Obituary for CARRILLO

Tomasita (Tomi) Carrillo, 70, a life long resident of Alameda, NM went home to be with the Lord Sunday, May 17, 2009. We remember her as a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. She was a wonderful example of a strong, hard working, independent woman. She was very social and had many friends. She worked hard for many years to raise her four children, working as a Safety Director at Herrera School Bus Company. She is preceded in death by her husband Jesse A. Carrillo, and her parents Emiliano and Rosenda Saiz. She is survived by her children Lionel and Mark Carrillo, Tina Tafoya and her husband George, and Greta Argueta and her husband Edward. Also, survived by ten grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her family and friends whom loved her very much. A Mass will be held at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 9502 4th St. NW, Albuquerque, NM on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. Interment of ashes will follow at San Carlos Cemetery after the Mass.
