William Schuessler, known affectionately as "Bill", died Sunday, May 17, 2009, at the age of 89. He was a resident of Albuquerque since September 1965. Bill is survived by his sons, William B. and wife, Josie J. Zircher of Hamburg, Germany and Eric Warren of Albuquerque; his daughter, Bonnie K. Smith and her husband, Ron, of Alto, NM; granddaughters, Martina M. Sisneros and her husband, Roy, of Albuquerque, Stephanie A. Kindred of Colorado Springs, CO, and Christine Lyle of Los Angeles, CA; great-grandsons, Cliff Kindred and Alejandro Sisneros; great-granddaughter, Angelica Sisneros; sister, Josephine Grisbeck; and brother, Joseph Schuessler, both of St. Louis, MO. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rosalie F. McGirk; his son, Ronnald J. Schuessler; and his second wife, Virginia Tschantre of El Paso, TX, all victims of cancer. Bill retired from Sandia National Laboratories in 1983. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2009, 11:00 a.m., at French - Wyoming Chapel.
