Arthur M. Melvin, 72, went to be with our Lord Thursday May 14, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur Roy and Mabel Melvin. Arthur is survived by his wife of 12 years Bernadette Melvin. Son: Arthur Scott Melvin and wife Connie Breakfield of Watsonville, CA; Daughters: Kaye Boswell and husband Doug of Mission Viejo, CA, Tracy Borton and husband Jeff of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Ashley Melvin of Hesperia, CA, Angeline Madrid of Seattle, WA; Step-sons: Nathan Madrid of Phoenix, AZ, and Steve Madrid of Albuquerque, NM; Sister: Carol Schahrer and husband Jerry of Crossville, TN. 6 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins Keith and Wally Runyon. Arthur graduated from University of Illinois in Electrical Engineering. He also received a Law Degree at Western State University in CA. He enjoyed golf, reading, wine, good food, and traveling. In lieu of flowers send donations to Heartland Hospice of Albuquerque, Presbyterian Medical Library of Albuquerque, Eastern Hills Baptist Church and Domminey Memorial Library Building Fund in Fairbury Illinois.
