Lauren Marie Krone, born Tuesday, December 25, 1956, former resident of Los Alamos, passed away in her Albuquerque home on Monday, May 11, 2009 surrounded by loved ones. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Aragon; and her sister, Andrea Calderon. She is survived by her children, Shannon Krone, Michael Krone and fiancee, Mikhaila Mulligan, and Mark Krone; mother, Lou Aragon; sister, Denise Gray and husband, Michael Gray and kids, Eli, Jon, and Matt. Lauren was artistic and extremely creative, specializing in Raku pottery. She was talented in other artistic areas including sculpture, other pottery, and gourd art. Lauren volunteered at the local outdoor pool, her church, and Los Alamos public schools. She was adept at home improvement, construction and gardening, and was instrumental in remodeling the family homes. Services will be held Saturday, May 16, 2009, 3:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
