Hal R. Wolfenbarger, 69, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 8, 2009. He was born in California on September 27, 1939. Hal had been a resident of Amarillo, TX and Clovis, NM before moving to Albuquerque. Hal was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from the Santa Fe Railroad. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, June; his children Paul, Allen, Sheryl, Beckey, Crystal, and Susan and two brothers; Jim and John Carl. He was blessed with ten grandchildren; Cameron, Sarah, Angela, Brian, Amanda, Alex, Annie, Neil and Caleigh. The newest grandchild is little two month old Linnae. She was already Grandpa's "little girl" since he was blessed to live in the same city and could see her all he wanted. Hal also had many nieces, nephews, and very close friends from the many years of a life well lived. There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2009 at Faith Lutheran Church located at 10,000 Spain Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111. Interment will take place on May 18, 2009 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
