Hunter W. Lewis went to be with his Lord on December 19, 2008. Due to the very recent death of their precious daughter, Linna Peterson, the family was unable to hold a service at that time. The celebration of his life is now scheduled for 11:00 a.m., on May 13, 2009 at the Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church at 8600 Academy Blvd., NE. Hunter is the son of the late Preacher Hunter Lewis and Edith Lewis of the St. James Episcopal Church in Mesilla Park, NM. He is survived by his wife, Betty Marquess Lewis and his children, Abby Lewis and Hondo Lewis of Albuquerque and Clifford Lewis of San Diego, CA, as well as his sister Sue Lewis Wimberly of Green Valley, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be given in his name to the Good Samaritan Fund at the church address or a charity of your choosing.
