Phillip (Pete) S. Hobart, 81 of Albuquerque, NM passed away Saturday, May 2, 2009. He was born in Rockford, Illinois, November 28, 1927 to Kathryn S. Hobart the second of her three children. Pete married his wife of 56 years JoAnn of Albuquerque in 1952. Other survivors include their three children, Jeff Hobart and his wife Kristy of Austin Texas, Mark Hobart of Albuquerque, Peter Hobart and his wife Lisa of Albuquerque. Six grandchildren, Jeanine Hobart, Logan Hobart, Jeffrey Hobart, Andrew Hobart, Joshua Hobart, and Phillip Hobart. Two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Sally Eichman and Richard (Dick) Hobart, several nieces and nephews. He was a WWII veteran stationed in Virginia. He enjoyed his career with Prudential Financial Services for some 50 years and enjoyed serving his clients. His legacy and example was evident in his faith, his family and his work. He will be missed but will be remembered by those he touched. Cremation has taken place. Services will be held at Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio Dr NE, Albuquerque, NM Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made in his name to the Grace Church Building Fund.
