Jeanne F. Grassham, 80, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away Monday, May 4, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles M. Grassham of Albuquerque; sons Phil Grassham of Christchurch, New Zealand, Bob Grassham and wife Barbara, John Grassham and wife Carol all of Albuquerque; grandchildren Kelley Grassham, Tracey Goodrich and husband Mason, Abigail Grassham, Mary Grassham, John P. Grassham and wife Lisa, Daniel Grassham, Joshua Grassham, and Kristin Grassham; great-grandchildren Sarah Day, Chelsea Day, Emily Zoltkin, and Tyler Grassham; sister Frances Downes of Alaska; and brother Bill Fowler and wife Norma of Albuquerque. Mrs. Grassham came from a longtime New Mexico family and was related to the Beaubien and Abreu Families. Jeanne graduated from Estancia High School and was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority at Highlands University in Las Vegas, NM. She was a member for over 60 years. Mrs. Grassham was a Past President of Albuquerque City Panhelenic. She enjoyed playing bridge and traveling. She was the best mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. A Service will be held, Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Chapel. Interment will follow at Estancia Cemetery, Estancia NM. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Friday, May 8, 2009 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
