Theresa L. Martinez, born on January 10, 1949 went to heaven on May 3, 2009. She is a beloved mother, sister, daughter, aunt, grandmother, and wife. She is survived by her son Richard Martinez and wife Justine (her Mija), her daughters Loretta Martinez and husband Jason Nunez, Denise Garcia and husband Christopher, her youngest daughter Cassaundra Marlene Martinez and her 14 grandchildren (Richard Martinez Jr., Jessica, Joshua, Amanda, Vanessa, Samantha, Kendall, Gabrielle, Alexandra, Micheal, Carlos, Jacob, Aaliyah, and Janyce). She lived a very fulfilling life with her husband Charles Martinez until his passing on January 24, 2003. She was a special lady very protective of all her family especially her grandchildren. She was no ordinary woman, she was a strong and smart woman, and did her best to support her entire family. She was a very caring, and loving grandmother to all her grandchildren. When she wasn't taking care of her family she was busy with all her different hobbies she invested in such as puzzles, sewing, and playing bingo. She had bumps in the road but it did not stop her from living life. We will love and miss her, and she will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace Theresa. Mass will be held in Roswell, New Mexico at Saint Peter's Church on the May 8, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.
