Frank Joseph Lovato, age 65, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, April 29, 2009. He was born on April 3, 1944 in Albuquerque, NM, and was a resident of La Jara, NM. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Frank worked as a Quality Control Aerospace Engineer for over 35 years in California. As of 2002 he was working for the Cuba Independent Schools. He will be fondly remembered as a devoted family man, always putting his family before anything else in life; always willing to lend a helping hand to others. He enjoyed spending countless hours playing with his grandchildren and being with this family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Amadeo and Dulcinia Lovato; brother, Robert Lovato; and two sisters, Olivia De Herrera and Eileen Lovato. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Linda Lovato; his children, David and wife Jill, Julie and husband Dennis; two grandchildren, Dennis Jr. and Lei Lani; brothers, Eddie and Randy Lovato; sisters, Christine Mason and husband Jim, Mildred Valdez, Darlene Sandoval; sister-in-law Nora Lovato, Nancy Lunak, Kathy Rosecrans and husband Chip; mother-in-law, Dolores Phelps; brother-in-law, Felimon De Herrera; and other numerous relatives and friends. Frank will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial Services will be conducted this morning (Saturday) at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2807 19th Avenue, Rio Rancho, NM.
