Hurston Adkins, 94, a resident of Albuquerque died Thursday, April 30, 2009. He is survived by his son, Dennis Adkins and wife, Linda of Tucson, AZ; four grandchildren, Denise, Tammy, Mike, and Ricky; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wives, Iva Adkins and Frances Adkins. Mr. Adkins was a loving father and grandfather who had a passion for golf. He will be dearly missed by his family. Services will be held on Monday, May 4, 2009, 9:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to a charity of your choice.
