Delores N. Smith, went to be with the Lord, Monday, April 27, 2009. She is survived by her son, Steve Smith and wife, Donna; granddaughter, Jessica Smith; grandson, Marty Smith and wife, Shannon; and dear friends including Anita and Don Hitchner and family. Delores was born in West Virginia. She moved to Albuquerque in 1952 and went to work for Sandia National Labs in 1956, retiring in 1985. She enjoyed gardening and was active in the Albuquerque Garden Club and the Day Lily Club. Services will be held Friday, May 1, 2009, 11:00 a.m., at French, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE.
