William H Shoats, 85, a former longtime resident of Albuquerque died in Longview, Washington on April 21, 2009. He is survived by his children, William T. Shoats of Tijeras, NM, Jean Andersen and husband, Darrel and Robert L. Shoats and wife, Illa, all of St. Helens, OR; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Diego Shoats of Tyler, TX; and several other family members and friends. Mr. Shoats was preceded in death by his wife, Opal; and his parents, Joseph and Mae Shoats DelFrate. He was a longtime member of Monterey Baptist Church. Services will be held Thursday, April 30, 2009, 10:00 a.m., at Monterey Baptist Church 12501 Lomas Blvd NE, with Burial following at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul NE. Friends may visit Wednesday, April 29, 2009, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at French, Lomas Location. Memorial contributions may be made to the Monterey Baptist Church Bus Fund.
