Erlinda B. Guzman, 77, passed away April 26, 2009. She was born November 16, 1931 in Willard, NM, to Valentin and Julianita (Cordova) Baca. Erlinda is survived by her five children, Mary Luna and her husband Jimmie, of Pandora, TX, Lupe Zamora, of Capitan, NM, Julia Salas and her husband Luis, of Torreon, NM, Cruz Glass and her husband Carl, of Kermit, TX, Valentin Guzman and his wife Cecelia, of Aurora, CO; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Bonifacio Baca and his wife Paula, of Albuquerque, NM. Erlinda was preceded in death by her son, Alex; and her parents. She was a life resident of Willard, NM. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrow Catholic church in Willard, NM. Erlinda was a master at quilting and she loved to make blankets. Mass will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrow, in Willard, NM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Erlinda's honor may be sent to Vista Care Hospice, 5639 Jefferson, NE, 821-5404. Pallbearers will be Norvin Luna, Daniel Salas, David Glass, Linda Affuso, Felix Garcia, and Leetro Romero. Honorary Pallbearers are Keith Guzman, Francis Gallegos, Christina Bacus, Barbara Garcia, Mary Garcia, Ernie Garcia and Erlinda's remaining grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
