George Mora, age 56, went home to the Lord on Thursday, April 16, 2009 after a long battle with illness. He is survived by his wife Jackie; son Francisco Blas; daughters Roberta and Georgia; grandsons Nathaniel, Micheal, Joseph and Elvis. He is also survived by his mother Carlota Mora; brothers Antonio and Mario; sisters Becky, Lucy, Julie and Patty, and their families; as well as many other family members. He is preceded in death by his father Frank Blas. A celebration of his life, a rosary and reception will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2009, 5:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 3301 Mountain Rd. NW.
