Irvin Ray Cheromiah, 54, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away April 19, 2009. Mr. Cheromiah is survived by his two children, Helen Cheromiah and Isaac Bernades; his mother, Juanita Cheromiah; his long time partner, Von (Lois) Johnson; two sisters, Matilda Louis and Anthony Candelaria, Marilyn Ruben and Steven Tharpe; four brothers, Paul Cheromiah and wife, Delfina, Rudy Cheromiah, Antonio Cheromiah, Timothy Cheromiah; three grandchildren; goddaughter, Teyonna Cheromiah; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Cheromiah is a retired Albuquerque Firefighter, a member of Albuquerque Fire Department Retirees Association and a veteran of the US Navy. Visitation will be April 21, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at his mother's home in Mesita, NM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mesita, NM with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Mesita Cemetery.
