Margaret Lopez Ambrosoni died unexpectedly in New York City on March 29, 2009. Margie was born in Albuquerque, NM on April 27, 1947. She lived with her husband of 43 years, Jorge Ambrosoni and her cat Sita in New York City and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Margie was preceded in death by her father, Arthur B. Lopez; her maternal grandparents, Joe Brazil and Marie Espinosa Brazil; her paternal grandparents, Vidal Lopez and Genara Garcia Lopez. She is survived by her mother, Marie Brazil Lopez, her brother, Arthur Lopez of Albuquerque, her sister, Rose Marie Lopez of Santa Fe and her nieces and nephews. Margaret devoted many hours of her time to writing poetry and fiction, her true passion. She had a long successful career in the TV and film industry working as a DGA assistant director and producer. Margaret was a world traveler; she enjoyed visiting her immediate family and her extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins in New Mexico. Her husband and family will miss her unique spirit, her gift with words, her wit and especially her loving and generous nature. As Margie would say, "I love you madly". A Memorial Mass will be held on April 27, 2009 at San Felipe de Neri Church in Old Town, Albuquerque at 10:00 a.m. The family invites you to attend the reception at the San Jose Church Hall. Go N on Rio Grande Blvd. Turn W on Zickert (one block N of Indian School Rd.). Turn N on Los Luceros to 2110 Los Luceros NW. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Foundation For The Blind.
