Gilbert YBarra. Beloved father, grandfather, brother and uncle, no more tears, suffering or pain. Our precious Lord has taken you home where you will remain in his Eternal Kingdom. You are now at rest with our parents Baltazar and Carmelita YBarra; brother Amadeo YBarra; and your loving grandson Jacob Najera. We will think of you every day and will cherish all the many beautiful memories that we have of you. You knew the love each of us had for you and how proud we always have been of all your great accomplishments. Yvette always wanted to dance with you to "Padre Querido" and she knows that someday she will have that dance. Gilbert, you will always have a special place in our hearts. Until we meet again, we Love You. Gilbert is survived by children Carlos Lucero and wife Carol, Gilbert YBarra Jr., Virginia Salas and husband Albert, Yvette YBarra, Christine Najera; grandchildren Daniel, Steven, Anthony, Andrea, Gabriel, Noah, Mariana and Isaac; brothers Frank DeHerrera and wife Fedelina, Rudy YBarra and wife Louise, Juan DeHerrera and wife MaryAlice, Leroy YBarra; sisters Maria Montoya, Lela DeHerrera, Betty Romero, Del Esquibel and husband Leo, Rose Casias and husband Frank; all your nieces and nephews and a very special niece, Mary Alice Arellano. Gilbert's family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice for their kindness and soothing words.
