Jerry Harris, 70, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Sue Harris; children, Tere Carr, Kurt Carr and wife, Vicki, Wendy Littleton, Lara Franklin and husband, Jerry, and Krista Harris; grandchildren, Samantha and Shane Mitchell, Devon, Megan, and Morgan Carr, Kelsey, Amanda, and Matthew Littleton, Gavin and Ashton Franklin, Pierce and Dimitri Tindell; aunt, Dovey Orthman; and cousin, Dorothy Creed. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Harris; and mother, Virginia McCarty. After Jerry retired as an FAA Air Traffic Controller, he had a second career as a Snap-On Tools franchise owner. He had an avid passion for race car driving and mechanics in the Albuquerque area. Services will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2009 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
