Obituary for THOMAS

Paulus Powell Thomas, late of the Albuquerque northeast heights, formerly of Los Alamos, died in his home Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at the age of 90. An honored veteran of WWII, he and his wife, Lillian, relocated from New Jersey to New Mexico in the late 1940's to assume a position as a scientific glassblower at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. As an amateur theatrical, he was well-known in theatre and light opera circles for his warm baritone and his stellar character appearances. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lillian; his son, Paul Thomas and partner John Pichardo of Albuquerque; his daughter, Sheriden Thomas and daughter-in-law Susan Corso; his daughter, Victoria Thomas Segura and son-in-law, Neno Segura of Albuquerque; his grandson, Nathan Segura and his granddaughter-in-law, Michelle of Albuquerque; his granddaughter, Lara Segura of San Diego and his two great grandchildren, Eli and Sierra Segura.
