Robert S. Bob Finz of New York and Albuquerque passed away recently in New York from complications of aortic surgery performed some ten weeks ago at the Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York. Bob turned 92 on February 11th of this year. His birthday was celebrated in the Hospital ICU. Bob is survived by his son Steve Finz and wife, Iris, of The Sea Ranch, CA, daughter Janet Finz of Tracy, CA, and son Gene Finz of Albuquerque and Miami, FL. Gene will be escorting his Dad back home to Albuquerque one last time for a Memorial Service this Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 11 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel, 924 Menaul, NE at Edith. Those who loved Bob will be invited to the podium to share their memories. We would love to hear from you if you wish. Following the Service, his friends will help roll his casket to the Memory Wall, where he will be interred with his wife, Madeleine, to whom he was married for 63 year
