Tom Potter, 64, a resident of Cedar Crest for 10 years, passed away suddenly at home with his family and friends by his side after a short illness Saturday, March 21, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 27 years Catherine; children Christine Porter and husband Shawn of Rochester, NY, Douglas Potter and wife Hosuk of Fayetteville, NC, Tamara Merry and husband Scott of Overland Park, KS, Keith Potter of Albuquerque; grandchildren Jordan, Josh, Amber, Austin, Jenna, Bryce and Alyssa. With his wife, Catherine, he operated Sandia Hospice, and most recently Sandia Home Care. Friends and family are invited to a gathering at the family home on Saturday, March 28, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tom and his family would like to thank all their employees, past and present for their love and support.
