Obituary for EARP

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Friday March 20, 2009

Laura Lee Earp, 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1938, died Tuesday March 10, 2009. She is survived by her sister, Lois Heaton, 90, of Gravette, Arkansas; son Jerry and wife, Viola. Grandchildren Bryan Earp and wife, Donna, Sidney Earp, Joshua Earp and wife, Jennifer; and great-grandchildren, Spencer Earp, Stuart Earp and Ethan Earp, all of Albuquerque. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2009, 2:00 p.m., at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 8812 Second St NW, with Roy Carroll, Minister, officiating. Laura Lee or grandma as many called her, was spunky and full of life even through her golden years. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Most friends and family knew of her devotion to her God, Jehovah. She loved to teach all she met about the hopes she found in the Bible. She helped many come to know Jehovah God. She drew her courage and integrity from such comforting scriptures as John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:3,4. We look forward to seeing her again in the paradise mentioned by Jesus at Luke 23:43.
