Wilhelmina Burns passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2009. She was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, and graduated from Albuquerque High School. Wilhelmina attended the University of New Mexico, and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She started her professional career with Bell Telephone Company, and retired Assistant Manager of the Postal Credit Union in 1989. Wilhelmina is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Platt and husband, Bob, and Michael Burns; grandsons, Ryan Skrak and Robbie Platt; great-grandsons, Jacques and Julien Skrak. Wilhelmina was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Burns; and her sister, Ollice Matthew. She was truly loved by her family and will be greatly missed. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2009, 11:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
