Jeanne Des Rochers Schell, resident of Albuquerque for 44 years, born July 16, 1925 in DuBoise, PA, passed away on March 17, 2009. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Vernon George Schell, on March 11, 2003. Jeanne is survived by her sons John Schell and his wife Peggy and David Schell; daughter, Julie Lyon; brother, Jack Des Rochers; sister, Gladys Kovaluk; five grandchildren, Paul, Jane, Jeremy, Matthew, and Bryan; five great-grandchildren, Jordan, Gabriel, Porter, Matthew, Emily, Evan , Delilah, and three nieces, Debbie, Sally, and Barbara. Jeanne was a kind, giving, loving woman who loved her life. She and her husband loved to travel and had the opportunity to visit most of the United States and Canada. Jeanne loved being a military wife and having the ability to be with her children as they grew. Cremation has taken place. Interment Service will be at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Park 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, 87125.
