Leroy Espinoza, age 68, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2009, after a long illness. Lee was born on August 5, 1940 in Santa Fe, NM. He is survived by his wife, Gayle; daughter Tasha; granddaughters, Kayla and Alaina; four brothers, four sisters, many nieces, nephews, family, friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Efren Espinoza, Carolyn Gallegos; sisters Elizabeth and Corrine. Lee retired from UNM after 30 years as a supervisor in the automotive center. He was a member of NOMADS, ROUTE 66 Rodders, Moose Lodge 1517. The Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at 6 p.m., at St Therese on 4th and Mildred. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Immaculate Conception on 6th and Copper. A reception immediately following the Service will be held at the Moose Lodge on Edith. Pallbearers are Jesus Espinoza, Victor Espinoza, Robert Espinoza, Luis Cordova, Chris Sandoval, Joaquin Chavez. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
