Obituary for MORAN

Anne R. Moran, 88, died March 13, 2009. She is survived by her sons Dick Moran, Dr. Steve Moran and wife Kandi, grandchildren, Holly Smith and husband Ryan, Luke Moran and wife Shanna, great grandson Hudson Smith. Anne is also survived by her sister Jean Bushell and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles "Chuck" Moran, her parents Harry and Pearl Richards. Anne attended Duke University and received her Bachelors degree from Russell Sage College, Troy, New York. She then taught physical education at the university level. She was an airline stewardess when she met her future husband Chuck, an Air Force fighter pilot, in Denver, CO. After they married they were stationed in many different places before retiring in Albuquerque. She was an avid golfer, enjoyed bridge and had a passion for gardening. Anne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. A private memorial service will be held at the family home for family and friends.
