Steven Andrew Koran, 49, died, Monday, March 2, 2009, in Fort Worth. Graveside service Will be held this week in Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, N.M. Memorials In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association. Steve was born Nov. 22, 1959, in Albuquerque, N.M. He was the youngest of three brothers, with two younger sisters. He attended high school at the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, N.M. Steve served in the U.S. Navy from 1980 to 1984. He worked in private aviation maintenance and commercial construction in Texas and Florida. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, George T. Koran Sr. and Mary C. Koran of Albuquerque, N.M. Survivors, his daughter, Erica Leos; grandsons, Thomas Braden Hill and Joshua Tristan Hill of Roswell, N.M.; brother, George Koran and sister-in-law. Trish Koran, of Northridge, Calif.; niece, Olivia Koran of Los Angeles, Calif.; niece, Emily Koran of Albuquerque, N.M.; brother, Donald Koran, and sister-in-law, Darlene Koran, of Watauga, Tex; sister, Cathy Garlinger, and brother-in-law, Bob Garlinger of Edgewood, N.M.; nieces, Elyse and Lauren Garlinger of Albuquerque, N.M., and Bobby Garlinger of Edgewood, N.M.; sister, Kristin Cantrell, and brother-in-law, Bill Cantrell, of Dallas; and cousins, Audrey Koran of Ancram, N.Y., and Lori Koran of Hackensack, N.J.
