Barron H. Freeman, age 57 of Albuquerque, NM passed away Tuesday March 3, 2009. He was born on November 29, 1951 in Inglewood, CA, to Jack and Patricia Freeman. He married Debra A. Bingham, the love of his life, on March 18, 1979 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Barron was president and owner of Equipment Specialties Co. of Albuquerque for the past 26 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and racquetball. From 1980 until 1983 he was ranked as one of the top 100 players in racquetball in the United States. His greatest love was his family; he enjoyed coaching his son basketball and teaching him guitar. Surviving are his wife of 30 years Debra, his son Derek Freeman, his mother Patricia E. Freeman, one sister, Sandra Alden and her husband Brian, all of Albuquerque, sister-in-law Sandra Morgan of North Carolina, brother -in-law William Hamilton and his wife Denise of AZ., many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His beloved dogs are Bear, Blazer, BeBe and Jake. He was preceded in death by his father Jack Freeman in 1991 and his brother Scott in 1992. Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. Monday, March 9, 2009 at Sandia Presbyterian Church, 10704 Paseo del Norte NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends and relatives may visit with the family Sunday March 8, 2009 from 4 to 7pm at French Mortuary Wyoming Chapel.
