Jerry Torres, 61, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 1, 2009. He is survived by his loving daughter, Bernadette Carian; his loving grandson, Tyler Carian; and a host of extended family members. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Torres; and his parents. Jerry worked for the City of Albuquerque for 25 years and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Memorial Rosary will be recited on Friday, March 6, 2009, 6:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 7, 2009, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE.
