Pearl Hamm, a Native New Mexican born in Raton, NM December 1933, has passed away February 27, 2009. Six months to the day from the passing of her husband, Melvin Hamm. Pearl and Melvin had been married for over 50 years. Pearl leaves behind three sisters, Doris Archuleta, Ginny Towndrown and June Floyd; three children, Cynthia Hawkins, Melanie Sumner and Russell Hamm. Five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Pearl was a longtime student of UNM, Albuquerque College and University of Nebraska at Omaha in pursuit of a Psychology Degree. Enjoyed belonging to the Santa Fe Opera, Garden clubs, Mensa, 4-H and many more community organizations.
