Margarito A. Turrietta, 66, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2009. He is preceded in death by father, Vitalio Turrietta and mother Ramona Turrietta; and sister Pauline Turrietta. Margarito was born in south Albuquerque, NM. He is survived by his loving wife Maria C. Turrietta of 45 years; his six sons, Gilbert, David, Robert, Richard, Danny and John and daughter Virginia. He also has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces; brother Carmel; and sister Mary Fieseler. He worked for the city of Albuquerque for almost 30 years and retired a devoted husband and father. He was a loving, caring, and gentle man to all who knew him. Services will be held at the Church of Ascension on Friday, March 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Burial to follow Pajarito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gilbert Turrietta, John Turrietta, Robert Turrietta, David Turrietta, Ricky Lucero, and Allen Fieseler. He will be greatly missed and always loved. He was a "one of a kind man". A celebration will be held after services at the home of Maria Turrietta in remembrance of a truly loving husband and father.
