James Brannon, 99, died Tuesday February 24, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Alice; son, James and wife, Corla; and daughter, Alma Ehlert; grandchildren, Eric Brannon and wife, Jeannine, Jeff Ehlert and wife, Andrea and Galen Brannon and wife, Pam; great-grandchildren , Andrew, Aaron, Vincent and Joseph Brannon, Kendahl, Terrance Ehlert; and many family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; seven siblings; son-in-law, Wayne Ehlert; and several other family members. Mr. Brannon attended First Baptist Rio Rancho, was a member of the Albuquerque Optimist Club and one time President. He retired from Burroughs Corporation after over 30 years of employment. Services will be Monday, March 2, 2009, 11:00 a.m., Faith Chapel, 1726 Girard Blvd. NE, with Burial following at Fairview Cemetery, 700 Yale SE.
