Madonna Ruth Bouricius, 78, a long time resident of Albuquerque, died February 22, 2009. She is survived by her husband Barthold; children, Willard Bouricius and wife Ann, Dan Bouricius and wife Eileen of Boulder CO, John Baldridge and wife Karen of Lakeville, MN, Ann Smith and husband Mark of Gahanna OH, and Barbara White, and husband Bill Hilliard of Albuquerque, N.M. There are 13 grandchildren; and sister Jackie Smith of Colfax, WA. Mrs. Bouricius was preceded in death by son Richard; and brother and sisters June, Jane, Luthera, Jimmy Ann and Bunny. She was a long time member and Master Gardner and loved reading and traveling. She and her husband traveled to Asia, Europe, Mexico, and throughout the United States. Services will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 2:00 pm, at French Mortuary Westside Chapel, at 9300 Golf Course Rd. N.W. (505) 897-0300.
