Bernie Doyle, 78, a person of love and laughter, passed away Sunday February 8, 2009. Bernie is survived by her husband of 54 years Dick; daughter Sheila Buckler, husband Ozzie, and grandchildren Jeremy and Kelley; daughter Bonnie Downey; and grandson Thomas Rolison. Also sister, Sandy Pearson and husband Alan, Loretta Westerlund and husband Willard and Darlene Sherard. Bernie was born and raised in Minnesota. She came to New Mexico in 1954 where she met her husband and has lived in the area since that time. Her later years were filled with golf, fishing, needlecrafts and friends. Bernie never knew a stranger. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday February 11, 2009 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Belen, 75 Manzano Expressway, Belen, NM.
