Helen Addy Whittle, 82, a resident of Edgewood, left this earth to go cut a rug with Dave, her husband of 50 years, on Thursday, February 5, 2009. She is survived by her daughters Lisa Marie Whittle and husband Bob Campbell of Edgewood, NM, Deborah Merchant and husband Russ of Columbus, OH, and Sharon Whittle of Washington D.C.; grandchildren Megan Merchant and Joshua Merchant; and her 93 year old sister, Madge Dembski of Chevy Chase, MD. Mrs. Whittle was preceded in death by the love of her life, David Levi Whittle. Cremation has taken place and she will be interred with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA. Friends will gather at the family home to remember Helen on Sunday, February 15.
