Francis "Frank" Daniel Scott, 69, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 4, 2009. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sherrell; children, Kyle Scott and partner Justin, and Mark Scott and partner, Jennifer Daniel; granddaughters, "his loves", Ellen and Alana; his expected grandson, John Francis Scott; sisters, Sarah Tackett and husband Bobby, and Peggy Turner; and numerous other relatives and friends. Frank was preceded in death by his daughter, Charla Scott in 1990; and his brother-in-law, Dee Turner. He was born on July 19, 1939 in Texas, where he attended and graduated from Texas Tech with a BS in Industrial Engineering. Frank also served in the United States Navy. He married Sherrell Lee in 1966 and they moved to Houston, TX, where he worked for Mosher Steel. In 1967, they moved to Lubbock, TX, where they resided until moving to Albuquerque in December 1979. Frank worked for Page and Wirtz Construction, Bradbury & Stamm Construction, and Summitt Construction. He was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, and at the time of his death was a member of Northeast Church of Christ. Frank was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel on Friday, February 6, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Services will be held Saturday, February 7, 2009, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel.
