Cecelia "Verna" Doyle, 93, resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, January 30, 2009. She is survived by her children, Mary Missakian (Cross Matthew - Deceased) of Los Gatos, CA, Matthew and Kay Doyle of Duluth, MN, Daniel Doyle of Albuquerque, James Doyle of Bellingham, WA, Timothy and Christine Doyle of Los Alamos, NM, Thomas Doyle of Albuquerque, Michael and Patricia Doyle of Albuquerque, Mark and Tiffany Doyle of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Melissa Rossmeissl, Matthew Missakian, Katherine Boswell, Tara Doyle Bizily, Siobhan Ehle, Matthew Sean Doyle, Ryan Doyle, Jennifer Doyle, Matthew Joseph Doyle, Michelle Doyle, Ryan McTavish, Patrick Doyle, Shannon Doyle, Shelly Doyle, Jeremy Doyle, Megan Doyle, Samuel Doyle, Hope Doyle, Annalyse Doyle; and eight great-grandchildren. Also children of her twin sister Irene Doyle (deceased), James Doyle, Kevin Doyle, and Maureen Olson; and many other wonderful nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Joseph Doyle; and son, Patrick Michael Doyle. Verna and her twin, Irene, were born December 5, 1915 in Duluth, MN at home to Anton and Beatrice Manley Schwartz. She also had two half brothers, Wilfred and Leonard Burke. She married Matthew Doyle, her high school sweetheart in 1942, and Irene married Matthew's brother, James Doyle a year later. His job then settled them in Albuquerque in 1948. Verna had a special way of filling a room, a house, or anywhere she was, with joy and love. "I feel my life has been a wonderful blessing," said Verna. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, February 4, 2009, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Chapel. Friends may visit two hours prior to the Rosary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, February 5, 2009, 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
