Stella M. Perez passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 31, 2009 in Albuquerque. Born February 13, 1927 in San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her son Roland P. (Sonny) Garza Jr. She leaves behind four children Vangie Corona, Ruben Roger Rosales, Nora Linda Tyree and Olga Annette Lopez, 15 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. Stella was a devoted mother and we mourn Her passing as we celebrate her life. She had a deep faith in God. Her generous heart and vibrant personality will be greatly missed and always remembered by those who loved her. She bore her disability with amazing resolve and strength. We give thanks to our blessed Lord for giving her a fulfilled life. Though the soul has left the body, the love and memories will keep her alive in our hearts forever. All arrangements will be provided by Oak Hill Funeral Home, 3401 Cherry Ridge in San Antonio, TX.
