Frank B. Gurule, 88, was called home to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 31, 2009. He was preceded by his beloved wife Bertha Gurule; and a son Gerald Gurule and daughter Rebecca Gurule. He is survived by his 11 children Arnold Gurule, Eileen Johnson and husband Robert, Frank E. Gurule, Daniel Gurule, John Gurule and wife Blanca, Rosalie Salgado and husband Juan, Rick Gurule, Carol Gurule, Paul Gurule and wife Cissi, Elizabeth Gurule, David Gurule. Five brothers Abel Valdez, Henry Gurule and wife Vi, Lucio Gurule and wife Dolores, Felipe Gurule and wife Ann, Manuel Gurule and wife Sophie; 34 grandchildren; and 52 great-grandchildren; three great-great- grandchildren. Frank was a WWII Veteran who served in the U.S. Army. Frank also had memberships of D.A.V.-V.F.W - P.V.A. and also was a member of the Baptist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., and a Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at the 8th Street Chapel of the Garcia Mortuary Funeral Service will be Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., at Friendship Baptist Church, with final viewing at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Gurule, Gerald Gurule, Paul Gurule Lawrence Tenorio, Rosalie Salgado, J.J.kean. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ray Sanchez and Jolyn Sanchez.
